NEOmexicana present at the inauguration of the project: Natural Gas Supply in Ciudad Textil, Huejotzingo, Puebla.
Huejotzingo, Pue. The NEOmexicana team participated in the event “First Stone: Natural Gas Distribution Network in Huejotzingo” in collaboration with the company ENGIE, to start the construction of an internal natural gas distribution network in the Ciudad Textil Industrial Park.
The importance of this project lies in the benefits for the municipality of Huejotzingo: generation of more than 100 jobs and more than 10 beneficiary companies located in this industrial park. In addition, construction time is projected to be 2 months and the distribution network is expected to be operational only 4 months after completion of construction.
With an investment of more than 20 million pesos, the expansion of the distribution network will have a length of 4.2 kilometers, more than 10 regulation stations for each customer and an estimated consumption of 358,000 GigaJoules with the firm objective of favoring industrial competitiveness, sustainability, technological development and, above all, to have a positive impact on the community. It should be noted that this project is in charge of the companies NEOmexicana and ENGIE.
The event was chaired by Ermilo Barrera Novelo, Secretary of Economy of the State of Puebla, and was attended by Jonathan Arce, Manager of NEOmexicana; Gabriela Carvajal Rubilar, General Manager of the Energy Agency of Puebla; Erika Morales Tello, Managing Director Networks ENGIE Mexico and Ruben Madero, COO of Grupo Alquimara.
